1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using WrenchHunt ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
WrenchHunt is an online platform that connects automotive technicians with employers in the automotive repair industry. The Service includes job posting, candidate profiles, AI-powered matching, and related tools.
3. Account Registration
To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain the security of your password
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
4. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Harvest or collect user information without consent
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
- Post discriminatory job listings that violate employment laws
5. Employer Terms
Job Postings
Employers are responsible for the accuracy of job listings. All postings must comply with applicable employment laws, including equal opportunity requirements.
Payments
- Employer Starter: $249 per single job post (30-day listing)
- Employer Pro: $799/month subscription for unlimited posts
- Featured Listing: $99 add-on for 7-day priority placement
- All payments are processed through Stripe. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.
Subscription Cancellation
Pro subscriptions can be cancelled at any time through the billing portal. Active job posts remain live until their expiration date after cancellation.
6. Candidate Terms
Candidate accounts are free. By creating a profile, you grant WrenchHunt permission to share your profile information with employers when you apply for jobs or when your visibility settings allow it.
7. AI Matching & Scoring
WrenchHunt uses artificial intelligence to match candidates with job opportunities and generate match scores. These scores are informational aids and should not be the sole basis for hiring decisions. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated assessments.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content (excluding user-submitted content) are the property of WrenchHunt. You retain ownership of content you submit but grant us a license to use it in connection with the Service.
9. Limitation of Liability
WrenchHunt is not responsible for employment decisions made by users. We do not guarantee job placement, hiring outcomes, or the accuracy of user-submitted information. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or abuse the platform. Users may delete their accounts at any time through the Settings page.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Travis County, Texas.
12. Changes to Terms
We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
